Social Networking

 Sure we converse/comment/ and sometimes have discussions through this form of technology. But does it strike anyone else as a little strange that the word “social” has been linked to the activity of staring at a computer screen?

  1. It did, but as I have been more and more active I realize that I keep in better touch with old friends.

    I know you may have been trying to be ironic, but (separate from marketing initiatives) I actually use Social Networking as a social pipeline.

  2. I do too; however, I still find it funny that “social” now includes this activity as well as face-to-face interaction.
