Pixelated Beauty

For years I have known that the images in magazines are an unhealthy standard to set oneself up for. Besides the fact that many actors, models, etc., have an entire entourage to make them look good, there is the retouching factor to keep in mind. Nobody’s skin is that smooth, hair is that vibrant/shiny, or body is that sleek in some of the positions these photos are taken in. Glenn Feron, a retouching artist shows numerous examples of this on his website. For ladies, looking at this may give you a boost of self-esteem knowing that the perfection in a magazine is all pixelated. Then again, if you like that idea of a world where perfection and glamour is truly a natural anomaly, you might want to skip this one.
